Flight Bases
2 Fully operational flight bases in Portugal with different characteristics, each important and complementary in terms of training. Thus, we have national coverage and a reduced dependence on a single airport infrastructure.
Two advanced flight simulators
IFA has the latest FNPT-II A320 APS MCC simulator. This simulator will enable one to be more prepared for Type Rating courses and to facilitate the airline screening assessment, thus applying for the job with more confidence and preparation. The FNPT ALSIM ALX is configurable: can range from a classic instrument aircraft with a glass cockpit to multiple types of aircrafts including single engine, twin engine, or a medium jet (Airbus 320).
Pipistrel Velis Electro 100% electric, the first in Portugal
The future generation of pilots will be trained by novelties of innovation and expertise with this game changing ultra-modern airplane. The first of its kind in the country, the Velis Electro is easily and quickly rechargeable as both environmentally friendly and cost effective. With a high level of safety, this simple aircraft to operate has a higher aerodynamic efficiency. It requires zero warm-up time before take-off.
