Turbine Engines (B1.1)

Piston Engines (B1.2)
Piston engines (or reciprocating engines) use fundamentally similar technology to that used by cars and motorcycles, with an internal combustion engine, where pistons in cylinders are used to transform motive force into propulsion, generating pressure into rotary motion.
Piston engine aircraft always drive a propeller.

2 Applicable for classes in both Viseu and Ponta Delgada.
3 If a visa is required to reside in Portugal to take the exams or theory, after enrolling the student will receive a registration statement that will be used to start the visa process at the local embassy or consulate. The process is handled directly by the student and has no connection with the school. In case of visa refusal, upon presentation of the appropriate proof of refusal, the amounts paid will be refunded, deducting any amounts already consumed, such as the delivery of manuals and access to classes with an instructor.
