IFA Industries is a recognized maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) organization, certified by ANAC, the national aviation authority in Portugal, and is compliant with all EASA regulations.
The company was created in 1979 – initially as Aviometa – and later acquired by the IFA Group. Located at Viseu’s airfield, it is responsible for the maintenance of the entire fleet of the IFA International Flight Academy and private clients.
About us: We are able to perform aircraft maintenance through our ANAC Part CAO Certification. We also have Part M Subpart G certification to perform airworthiness control on the aircraft.
About us: IFA Industries is a Maintenance Training Organization (MTO) Part 147, certified by ANAC according to EASA Regulation 1321/2014, offering training to all who wish to become Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (AMT).

IFA operates from three locations, providing comprehensive coverage across the northern and southern regions of the country for all those aspiring to pursue a career in aviation.
Our aviation training programs are delivered across multiple flight bases, ensuring accessibility and flexibility for our students. Aircraft maintenance training, operated by IFA Industries, is centralized at our Viseu base, where we offer specialized, high-quality technical instruction for future Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (AMT).
The Lisbon base is part of IFA’s flight training network, delivering aviation courses with high standards of quality, safety, and operational efficiency. Its strategic location enables dynamic training tailored to the demands of the aviation sector.
The Viseu base combines flight training with the technical field of aircraft maintenance. Through IFA Industries, aircraft maintenance training is centralized at this location, operating as a Part 147 Maintenance Training Organisation (MTO), certified by ANAC in accordance with EASA Regulation 1321/2014. We provide specialized training for future Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (AMT), with high technical and operational standards.
The Braga base is integrated into IFA’s flight training network, providing ideal conditions for practical pilot training. It ensures proximity and flexibility for students in the northern region, while maintaining IFA’s high standards of quality and safety.
