IFA Industries, recognized for its leadership in aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO – Maintenance and Repair Organization), announces that it has been certified as a Continental Diesel service center since early 2020.

The company, with over 40 years of experience in the maintenance of various types of aircraft, recently chose to obtain certification in the most advanced engines for general aviation, Continental Diesel engines. The reason for choosing this partner is mainly due to the quality of the components and also the fact that they have proven to be more efficient and economical than traditional AVGAS engines. The use of Jet Fuel, the engine's efficiency and its low consumption also make this solution a more positive option for the planet.

Continental Diesel engines also offer other advantages. They are equipped with a FADEC (Full Authority Digital Engine Control) system, which provides greater safety and protects the engine from pilot errors, thus making them more suitable for aviation training environments.

These aircraft are certified in accordance with the requirements of the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) and EASA (European Union Aviation Safety Agency).

For IFA Training, a company dedicated to pilot training belonging to the IFA group, five C172 aircraft equipped with Diesel engines and Garmin Glass Cockpit are currently being re-engined, the first of which will arrive at the end of March this year.
