IFA Industries Launches E-Learning Program in Partnership with Lufthansa Technical Training

We are proud to announce the launch of the FLEX Program, a new and highly flexible pathway to obtaining a Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance License, in partnership with Lufthansa Technical Training.

The FLEX Program responds to a growing demand for alternative training formats for aspiring Aircraft Maintenance Technicians, particularly for those who cannot commit to a traditional full-time course but still seek a high-quality, EASA-compliant education.

Traditionally, Aircraft Maintenance Technician training follows a two-year, full-time structure, with theory taught in the first year and practical training in the second. The FLEX Program offers a different approach, combining self-study, in-person sessions, and continuous online support, all built around a robust e-learning platform that allows students to start at any time and progress at their own pace.

Designed to lead directly to a Part-66 B1.1 or B1.2 license, the FLEX Program is accessible worldwide and adapts to each student’s availability and learning rhythm. This flexibility makes it an ideal solution for professionals, career changers, and international students seeking a more adaptable path into aircraft maintenance.

To ensure the highest standards of quality, IFA - Industries partnered with Lufthansa Technical Training, widely recognized as one of the leading aviation training organizations in the world. The collaboration brings industry-leading content, advanced learning tools, and proven pedagogical excellence to the FLEX Program.

The launch of FLEX comes at a critical time for the aviation industry, which is expected to require more than 700.000 new aircraft maintenance technicians globally in the coming years. With strong global demand, experienced Part-66 certified professionals can earn 100.000€ per year or more.

With the FLEX Program, IFA Industries and Lufthansa Technical Training are opening new doors to one of aviation’s most in-demand careers - offering flexibility, quality, and global opportunity.
